Yes, it is that time of year again: San Diego Comicon. It is the time when fans and creators alike all descend on the coastal city to celebrate popular culture in comics, tv, film, and games. If you’re attending the show, make sure to stop by the BOOM! Studios booth #2743 and say hi, get a book signed, or offer up a small sacrifice (certainly not expected but always appreciated). I’ll have two panel appearances during the show as well:
H.P. Lovecraft in Comics and Film: Thursday, 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Room 9.
Editing Comics the BOOM! Studios Way: Sunday, 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in Room 23ABC
And, as every year, you can find me amorously attached to a glass of scotch at the BOOM! Studios Annual Drink-Up. It starts at 9 (I’ll be getting there a bit later) and goes until the bartenders are forced to chase us out with tire irons. Just wanted to say how much i thouroughly enjoyed 28 Days Later. I was not sure, but i had a feeling, that the series was wrapping up, and some quick googling just now confirmed it, along with finding your blog here.
I will be truly sorry to see 28 DL end. I bought the first issue on a whim, having loved the films so much, but not expecting much from a movie tie in. I have to say that i loved every minute of this book, and have shared my issues with a number of friends who have loved it as well.
Anyway, i'm sorry to see it go, and just wanted to let you know that you made a fan out of me.

Thanks so much for reading. I'm really glad you've been enjoying the series. Yes, it is sad that the series wraps up with issue #24, but we got to tell the complete story that we set out to tell. And in comics, that is a rare thing.
